In the 52 million years I’ve been blogging SL stuff, I’ve always wrestled with the choice of writing narrative to go along with pictures or not. So I’m going to leave it up to you. Should I? Would you read it?

When I read blogs, sometimes, I’m like “Yeah, yeah, just show me the pictures and the details.” But then there are other bloggers that I really want to hear what they have to say about particular look/style or product. And when they do, they’ve surprised me with wit and insight, and not just another pretty face. On the other hand I’ve thought, “Hey, if I’m taking good enough pictures, and providing enough details in the style notes, the picture should say it all.” But sometimes it’s the little things that can’t be summed up in the details section. Like the scarf highlighted above comes with a great color-change HUD that not only changes the scarf color/patterns, but the unique cattle head pin. Or that the textures on the new F.owl jacket are splendid and it comes in a vast array of bold patterns, including a basic black and a basic burgundy and you should really check them out.
