Chop Shop

My real life budgetary constraints are forcing me to delve deeper into the inventory of doom for looks. So for the time being, don’t expect much newness here. That being said, I like to think of this look as a short of stolen car for parts look. Huh? It’s put together with lots pieces of from different outfits.  I think it’s a bit of a frankenstein.

Starting off with the 80’s retro high-waisted t-shirt skirt from Emery in red and white stripes paired together with an off-the-shoulder Ramones t-shirt steal from that old stand-by WRONG. I’ve added a skinny belt from Elate on the jacket layer. These belts are great for layering opportunities.

My “chop shop look ” continues with torn stockings from a Dutch Touch outfit, slouch socks that came from a pair of Maitreya boots and arm warmers from a Bijou outfit.  I’ve had Fancy Schmancy’s expensive diamond studded collar forever, but the knuckle ring from LaGyo is new and bad ass. These rings come in 3 metals and I find myself always wearing one.

Oh, I so wanted my hair to be more fierce, but discovered, much to my dismay, I don’t have many punky hair styles on my wig shelf. And the ones I had were from back in the day. Can you say texture fail?  Oh, the horror. So this new updo from 69 will have to suffice. Rockerberry’s Uma skin gives me a little more hard edge on make-up.
