This month’s Genre theme is Petites. Before this, I was not familiar with Petites at all, so it was very much a learning experience. I joined the Genre team because I believe it helps me step outside the “normal” lines of what’s “normal” in Second Life. Petites is pretty “normal,” except smaller. Much smaller! For my shoot, I went back old school, to the days of Greenies. Remember them? I hung out with the good Martian folk for a bit.

Petites are definitely a niche market and not for everyone. The Second Life world can be kind of daunting and scary place when you’re teeny-tiny.  If you’re looking to get started with a Petite avatar, head on over to The Petite Kingdom, where Yabusaka and others have quite a few mesh avatars for sale.  Grab some demos and see which one best suits you. (Your normal A/O will work with your tiny toon.)
