The final topic: If this is your first BBBC… What did you get out of your experience? Do you think it will change the way you blog in the future?

Holy guacamole, I made it! I posted 6 days in a row. Let me tell ya, I’m spent. That was a lot of effort. It was quite the experience and while I always write around my pictures, I usually keep the topic to fashion only. This challenge made me share a lot more. I’m a RL blogger, have been since 2002, so I’m no blogging noob. I love to write and write in my RL blog every day. I will admit, it did feel a bit uncomfortable sharing other aspects of my SL other than fashion. Maybe it will help anyone who reads The Fashionable Heart realize that there’s an actual humanoid behind it.

Blogging 6 days in row made me think outside of the normal realm of fashion to come up with different ideas. Meaning, one day I was a drow (elf), the next day a fairy and so on. And since it was well-received, I think I will continue creating looks outside of the box a bit (for me).

Today’s look is from a new release from Fri.day, which are two new halter tops, patterned and solid. I’m wearing the Poet top in the Memories pattern. Both halters are available in 8 different colors and include a sweet little bow tie at the neck line. I’ve paired it with this week’s Atomic’s Stumblebum offering of skinny jeans. Offered, for now,  in 3 different colors.  Atomic will soon be offering them in a multitude of colors. So stay tuned for that. I’ve combined it with these great biker boots in black leather from Kboots for a bit of a tough girl look.
