I think I’m a day behind in the Big Bad Blogger Challenge, but I say better late than never!

Today’s BBBC topic is to write about 3 positive things going on in my Second Life.

I know we all complain about something and the whining I hear on the grid on a daily basis can get almost deafening, not to mention “blah, blah blah.” I have a feeling 99% of you will not even read this. Oh, see, there I go already! No, I would not like any cheese with my whine. Let’s focus on the positive.

3 positive things in my SL:

• My relationship with my partner. We’ve been together over three years and we’ve never been better. I think that’s some kind of record somewhere. I equate SL time like dog years…a 7 to 1 ratio. So being married for 3 years is really like 21 years. We still got it, though. I get butterflies every time I see him and I could curl up in his arms and listen to his dulcet tones recite the phone book even.
• The tight group of friends I hang out with on a regular basis. We’re a close band. We’re always there for each other.
• I can stretch my creativity with my land and fashion, and after almost 4 years, I still learn something new about Second Life every day.  It is a constant learning and growing experience. Think of the fuckery we put up with on a daily basis. SL longevity is for those strong in computer fortitude. I know we all experience our McGyver moments on the grid. “Let’s see, if I block and unblock someone I can receive my inventory offers and offlines.” or, “If I set out a prim for $0,  and buy it, I can get my Linden balance to load.” You know what I mean!

My look today consists of last week’s Stumblebum Brigade offering from Boom. The kiosk still might be out and is worth a visit to Boom. However, if you can’t get your hands on a set of these $100L gnarly tubes, Boom offers a vast array of colors. I’m sure you’ll find one to your liking. I also love my boots from Tonktastic. They’re big, scripted to change colors, and I’m pretty sure I can kick down a building with them, or some serious pixel ass.
