Skin Flicks – Hallie

I’ve got a bone to pick with really, no one in particular, more of an observation. I wish Mavis McGettigan of Skin Flicks would get more recognition that she deserves and more fans because of her quality work and designs. I base this opinion solely on her work as I have never spoken to the woman, but I truly believe more ladies need to take note of her work. It really brings to light some of the sad realities of the SL fashion world. I’ve seen a couple sub par designers become far more popular just because of who they know. Sad but true, and probably nothing new to you.

Every six weeks or so, when Skin Flicks releases something, I get excited and I know I can count on clothing that’s textures, design and prim work will be top-notch. It will be released in lots of different, yummy colors as well as all layers. I’m highlighting the latest Skin Flicks sweater release, Hallie. This adorable, off-the-shoulder sweater is offered in not only a stand-alone sweater, but in a dress as well. Volare is particularly chesty, so it took a quick little bit of prim work to get the collar sized correctly.

If you haven’t yet, pay her shop a visit. I know you’re bound to find something cute, well-made and reasonably priced.
