My bike and me!

My bike and me

On a recent journey to the very special winter Magic of Oz land, I happened upon a tiny store called JD Mechanical Toys. My eyes were immediately drawn to this 1915 motor bike. The work of the talented Jenne Dibou. This carefully crafted and scripted, sidecar equipped motorcycle from the early 20th century is capable of carrying 3 persons at reasonable speed with good handling and with a touch of realism. You actually lean into the turns! Be aware, though, if you role play, it’s not a wear-type vehicle, it’s a 29 prim physical one, ensuring sim crossings to be as smooth as SL enables them to be.

Thankfully in SL I don’t have to obey helmet laws and while Gypy Soul’s wool hat won’t protect me from a case of road rash, I sure will look stylish. I believe I’m breaking every rule of riding a motorcycle, and then some. (Style note: I had to rearrange some prims on the Beloved hair to accommodate my cap.)

Gypsy Soul’s Emily jeans are just simple jeans with great cuffs to wear with your favorite t-shirt or sweater. They look especially casual when paired with the bottom half of Dela’s brown boots.  Topping  off the jeans is a t-shirt and stripey wool sweater, when combined with the included hat makes for a young look. Hence the name of the outfit, Juvenile.  A newish necklace release from Violet Voltaire’s Queen Alice set provides a delicate unique look, like only Violet can provide.
